Romance
"Tell me you love me," Evan whispers softly. His grip on my neck tightens with each syllable. I struggle to say those five words as my breathing weakens, as well as my vision. . . Monica Evans' life changed the day her older brother died, and no boyfriend, wild parties, or Friday night football games have ever been able to change that. That is until she meets Evan Anderson, the son of legendary football player Darrell Anderson. Beyond the glitz and glamour, Evan holds demons so deep inside that Monica is able to connect with him on a more personal level. Monica finally begins to feel like she's finding herself with Evan by her side, but when the kisses begin to turn to bruises and the I love yous begin to turn into words of pure hatred and jealousy she doesn't think her life is sweet anymore; but bitter. Author's Note: Hello, as of 2018 I am editing this story. If you read some of the earlier comments you may see that they don't match the actual chapter. This is because I've decided to change a few names, concepts, and the overall pace of the story. I feel more confident in my writing now than I did years ago so that's why I made the decision to edit this book entirely. Thanks for reading, I do hope you enjoy. :)

"I love you" He had a habit of always repeating this same phrase right after he threw his final punch and I had no other choice but to say them back. What else could be expected in a relationship with Mason Riley. You tell him what he wants to hear, and maybe next time it won't be so bad. Kaya Fischer is stuck. They say there's a distinct line between right and wrong, but what if the line has been blurred and now lies distorted beyond comprehension? What do you do when your voice of discernment has been stripped and the only one left to rely on is his? These are the questions that need answers, and Kaya won't stop until she's found them. But, the only question remaining is, what if it's already too late? Cover By: _toochocolately_ #14 General Fiction 8.31.17
