"- you definitely caused a show back there, Bonnie."
"What?", I practically hiss at him. I'm too tired for all this bullshit.
"Looks like someone is still not out of their bitchy mode yet. Serves you right for acting like a know-it-all every single second of the day.", he says, practically grinning ear to ear.
"What do you want, James?"
"Super sassy now, are we?"
"Spit it out or Fuck off."
"Oooooo, she cusses too. Are you sure you're not possessed by some soul. Maybe that lover girl of yours, Cassandra, was it?"
"And your point exactly?"
"You might have got the gold in calculus, but the 1st semester's close. With all the chem tests and lab practicals coming up, I don't suppose you can catch up. Can you?", he taunts, with a raised eyebrow, too close to my face.
I lurch forward towards him, making him stumble backwards, and hitting the desk behind him.
"Watch Me!"

Two students. Toppers, seeking academic validation, with a fire inside of them to take back control of their lives by winning the scholarship of their dreams and ceasing Class Valedictorian. In a race that's been going on for years, will these two find the true meaning of their lives while intertwining their fates?
Natasha Anne Jones is the fire that gives you warmth, is the flame that makes you feel cozy and at home. A heart of gold, with determination to earn herself a good life, embarking on a journey to earn a social image.
Thomas James Alarie is the fire that scares you off. A flame so ablaze that engulfs you, burning you alive, inside and out. Cold to the world, broken beyond repair, trying to free himself of familial bonds and flying solo into the world.
Will these kindred souls, with the same flaming cores ever uncover the true person behind their biggest rival?
"Why are you doing that!" she whisper-screams while her eyes flit to the other guys, who are now immersed in something else that isn't us.
I kiss that spot again, making her whole body shiver. It's oddly entertaining to watch what my slightest movements do to her. Usually it takes a lot more for a girl to unravel this way, but her breath hitches each time I go to kiss her neck. I could only imagine what my hands could do to her body.
"You still didn't answer my question," she huffs harshly. And still she hasn't pulled away from me. Had I been any stupider, I'd say Jordyn was actually enjoying herself.
If she hates this so badly, why hasn't she asked me to stop?

In August, Jordyn Reeve starts attending Crestview Prep and not long after strikes a deal with Beau Clemonte, an arrogant, rude boy who happens to be the thing that can give her what she wants: his best friend, Jake Amherst. Of course, everything worthwhile must come with a price.
Despite her outright opinions, Jordyn makes a deal with the devil. Or at least that's what that's what she saw at first -- a coldhearted, stubborn asshole that cared even less than she did. Her only intention was to see this out to get the guy. However, it wasn't that simple for Beau.
