Adelina Sutton is one of the top architects at Layton Designs. When her best friend, and team leader, is out on maternity leave, she assumes her new role as temporary project leader. She's a head strong workaholic with a sharp tongue, who is oblivious to the aura of elegance and class she emanates, creating long lines of men waiting for their chance to ask her out on a date.

Silas Ainsley is the new tenant that moves into her apartment building. After embarrassing herself in front of him, she tries to re-write her first impression by being kind to the stranger who's new to the area. But that's as far as her kindness would extend. She couldn't afford to start building new relationships when she's trying to prove herself competent in a leadership role. That is until she finds out that her new neighbour is the head engineer for the projects she's assigned to.

That's when the squabbles began. Disagreements turned into challenges.
