Skye Thomson is just a regular girl who does regular things with her best friend. She's quiet, shy, and secluded. She's a good kid. One who follows all the rules and turns in all of her homework. At least until her senior year of high school when Skye decides to become more outgoing like her best friend. Skye finds out that when she decides to become outgoing, it means doing a bunch of stuff that she doesn't usually do. Like frequent parties, consume alcohol, and flirt with guys. But it's hard to flirt with guys when she already has two, hot on her trail. Oh and don't forget about the secrets that her best friend, her parents, and her ex boyfriend have been keeping from her. Skye Thomson is in for a hurricane while floating in the ocean. But it's hard to walk away when you're stranded in the middle of the ocean.

"I'm so sorry, Casey," he said, pleading for my forgiveness. I'd been avoiding his intense gaze for the entirety of the conversation, but I looked into his eyes as I said: "I just want to know; why me?" ---------- Casey Hall is a simple girl, leading a complicated life and it only gets worse when she encounters Jeremy Storm and his elite group of friends. Each attractive, athletic, and... well, attractive, it's impossible for Casey to keep their lives separate. Once Casey learns that the driving factor for their friendship was a childish bet she finds herself incredibly hurt, but is it enough to pull her away from the one she loves? **probably not the ending you're expecting- If you want some sappy optimism you should find another book**
