This takes place in half life 2 where Barney and resistance are going to initiate the attack in city-17.
Humanity lost the fight 20 yrs ago in 7 hours ,but this time we shall retake our freedom from the Combines.
Barney: what the hell is that!

G Man: it's time Corporal Shepherd, my employers are eager to see what will happen and so do what you're trained for and smell the ashes....

(Note: it's gate x half life 2, and I always wanted to see Gate anime world reaction to the resistance, Barney Calhoun, Dr kleiner, robot dog, Dr Gordon Freeman, Cpl Shepherd, and small pockets of the remaining H.E.C.U and other government military that escaped and hid after the 7 hours war.

Gate: War of Two Worlds. A Gate story loosely based on the Gate manga/anime. It starts similar and then goes on its own stories. It is a story when a alien Empire invades Philadelphia through a magical Gate in the year 2025. The US leads a NATO-led war in Humanity first interstellar war. A Ranger united called Vanguard-7 is led by Major Sharpe. He will have to face the unknown of this world while facing his past and upholding his ideals. This story has original character, original story, original locations and factions. The Gate story is a baseline for a far grander world that I have planned. Note: Volume 1 is a mix of Gate cannon and original work. Volume 2 is mostly a copy of the Italica Arc. In the year 2026, an alien race called the Zlocu led under the command of the bloodthirsty Emperor, Malgan Tomentradi, are waging war across the stars, believing that the era of peace was slowing down the next step of universal evolution. Now, they are determined to "awaken" everyone to let them know how peace made them weak. Recovering from a devastating global conflict, planet Earth took one of the worst hits from the Zlocu's onslaught. Despite the efforts of various governments, the Zlocu occupied 80% of Earth. Everything seemed hopeless until a group of celestial beings called "The Guardians" started to intervene in the conflict, spurred on by the discovery of the four physical incarnations that represent the principles of the Universe itself. All of them found on planet Earth, three Humans and an Alien. Now, these four heroes and other factions must work together to defeat the Zlocu Empire and Malgan's reign of tyranny. But more than war, they also must discover the meaning of being a hero and a warrior in the modern world, one in which Humanity may have lost its way. Half-Life: Cache Grab
Throughout Half-Life 2's later sections in the city 17 uprising, you may have noticed that the resistance has such an abundant supply of rockets and ammunition. While a lot of it is obviously scavenged from the Combine, most of it fresh out of containers. How did these get here? Where did the Resistance end up acquiring these stockpiles of rockets and ammo? That's where these assholes come in. This is going to be a shortfic about a ragtag group of Resistance fighters who specialize in weapon salvage, resurrection, and distribution, and their race to locate a cache of soviet rockets before the Combine get to it first. No major named characters are going to show up in this fic. That means no Gordon, no Alyx, no Eli, and NO GMAN. I'm not gonna pull a "but then Mr. Protagonist noticed a man dressed in a suit and tie watching him from the rafters...." Because none of these guys are important enough for that. I'm willing to make this a series if you guys want - heaven knows this franchise needs more content - but I only plan on doing the one chapter. Enjoy!Concluida
