The previous Divine Hero fell after her success. After the era of peace ended, all of Ebrasia fell into chaos. A final seer has prophesized a being of unusual description will cross all Ebrasia on the hated Dark Crusade, and will ultimately end King Blackwick the Second and tear this world from it's dark shackles. Five Guardians escaped and did an ancient ritual to send their children to a different realm to save them from Klawr and so they can come back and save Moonlit Valley.
