IT ALL STARTED IN HIGH SCHOOL

Vanessa Scott is seventeen years old and a very intelligent girl who knows exactly what she wants. She is head strong and strongly believes that depending on a man is not the right thing to do. After the death of her mom, she now has to live with her father and complete the rest of her high school days.

However her world is about to change when she comes in contact with her neighbor's son Caleb Carter. He is the type of bad boy every girl wants. He is handsome, daring and very possessive of whatever or whoever he sets his eyes on. Their first encounter is inside the girls bathroom. To her, it's the start of them becoming enemies and her definition of the guy every girl should run away from but for him it's the start of getting to know her better.

They both moved from being enemies to love birds until Caleb's ex-girlfriend reveals a secret and text messages that ended Caleb and Vanessa relationship causing her to move back to Florida to live with her Aunt.

Now it has been eight years and Vanessa is now an Elementary School teacher and they cross each other's paths because of Caleb's daughter Casey who is a new student in her class.
