Bucky Barnes left the army three years ago on medical discharge and he's still struggling to move on. He puts on a brave face and throws himself into the business he runs with his best friends Steve and Sam. He may be fooling some, but his friends can see right through it.
He's fine. And no attempt from them to persuade him to step out of his comfort zone of work and home, and maybe put himself out there, is going to sway him.
Then he meets Ava at Cosmic Coffee, her tiny coffee shop, one he walks past every day but never enters until the day everything seems to direct him inside.
They get talking and it turns out they're both in need of something the other can offer. It seems too easy as a deal is made over coffee and a Fleetwood Mac record but Bucky might just end up getting more than he bargained for.
