---BEWARE OF THE DEAD AHEAD---
Step into the bloodied, dirt flecked boots of presumably the last active Sheriff of America, Bill Clark, as he tries to put the law back into a country tainted by banditry, and ruined by a pandemic that turns what once people in horrendous flesh-eating green-skinned mutants.
A fucked-up world such as this, where your old life is gone, never to return again, even if things go back to normal, can change a person, but no one ever thought that a person can change a fucked-up world.
"We make the world what it is by what we do," are the words he chose to live by. Join him in his mission to band together groups of survivors, reunite a broken country, and create a new world from the ashes of the old. Only needing his trusty rifle, an M60 machine gun, a journal that he intends to turn into a survival guide, and a bus.
While the word "Sheriff" means nothing anymore at this day and age, his badge, and the responsibility that rests upon it definitely still carries on. No matter how many he had lost, friends, family, loved ones, what's more important is to change the world for the better, so that future generations can still live on, and prove that humanity will triumph over every trials that's been thrown at them.
The world can recover, and become better than it was before, thanks to people like Sheriff Bill, who will do what it takes for that wishful thinking to come alive, even if it means sacrificing one's morals and humanity.
"So burn us in the furnace, let our souls ignite the flames, use our bones to stoke the embers, use our blood to oil the chains. We're nothing more but engines, rending flesh to find a way, and as we fall, we know we die to light a brighter day."
It's time for the Sheriff to bring back the law to this lost world. Pray the future that they're building will be worth its weight in lives.

Hey, you! Yeah, you. Listen up, dude, because I don't have much time. Actually, I have a ton of time, I just don't feel like repeating myself. South Park is infested with zombies. Yeah, you heard me right. Shuffling around, undead, want to eat you zombies. I'm stuck as some kind of leader of a tiny crew of kids. I don't know what the hell I'm doing, but everyone else seems to think I do, so I guess we're going with that. In a few days the whole town went from being kinda nuts to completely chaotic. Why do people think I'm a good leader? Why'd all the adults leave? Where's literally half of my grade, they can't all be dead, can they? Why are we not allowed to leave South Park? Do they want us die? How long can we keep on living like this? Most importantly, why couldn't I have just gone with Tweek to the stupid bathroom? Now he's M.I.A. and it's my fault. Anyway, I hope maybe you can find some pleasure in reading this. I mean, I would probably get bored, but whatever floats your boat, dude. Gotta run. 40 years ago, the world as we know it was destroyed by hordes of the undead. But the threat isn't gone. It has evolved. In the year 2027, the American Government buckled under the weight of millions of undead, whose inexorable push Westward drove away and killed every living thing until only nothingness was left. Many years later, most of the survivors (and their descendants) believe that the infected have been wiped off the face of the Earth. They are mistaken. What the scientists and researchers of the Republic of Sacramento eventually came to understand was that the virus had not been eradicated. Instead, it had changed, become something much worse. Its new form, the Vox Humana Virus, is so called because of its distinct evolutionary advantages over its predecessor: rather than kill the host, VHV in a sense disables the host-body's linkup with the brain, rendering it a puppet in service to the parasite. Because these new "Sleepers" do not shamble or groan or bear any characteristics that would easily distinguish them from a normal human being, they can now infect entire populations before anyone even knows they have arrived. Sacramento's response to this new threat was the institution of the Bureau of Public Health, an innocuously named super-agency whose staff are granted authority above and beyond any other citizen. The Agents, colloquially known as "Bag Men," are the gatekeepers, it is they who identify and exterminate Sleepers. Into this mess Troy Myers will step, one day. However, in 2040, he finds himself in the badlands bordering the cities of the new Tri-Texan Confederacy, looking for something, maybe a place to call home. Maybe, inside all this death, there will be a chance for peace. In the meantime, the kill count racks up and up. If Troy wants to live, he'll have to pay for his time with bullets. My hands were stretched out to him. Expressing what my voice couldn't. I needed his help - even if it's just this once - I'd hoped he helped me. But he didn't reach out to me. Instead, I watch him turn his back at me. I watch him walk away when I needed him the most. Even after all she said, there was a part of me that hoped it wasn't true. Even if he doesn't love me - I'd thought he would at the very least liked me... maybe? I thought all the things I did for him would make him see me, tolerate me or something. But no. We kept drifting further apart. And it's all my fault. I simply did too much. I trusted the wrong person. Did the craziest things for love. Forgot my self worth. All these to earn his approval, his acknowledgment - for him to see me - none of which ever happened. And now, here I am. Lying in the pool of my own blood for someone who doesn't even care for my life or death. Oh, how I wish I could turn back time! I refuse to face my family like this. This is too shameful. In Shadows of Night
I woke to a sudden breeze invading the warmth from the heavy blanket that caressed my skin. Here, alone with my thoughts, the still, calm quiet in the atmosphere is almost painful. I feel suffocated in the clingy, static air. In quiet, still moments like these, I can almost feel Him. I don't know who "Him" is, but I can feel his presence. It's almost calming, especially on fearful, anxiety fueled nights. Usually, he was the strongest when I had a nightmare. The nightmares weren't as common now, but, right after everything happened, I was having them every night. I'd wake up and swear I was drenched in blood, my eyes and lips sticky, my nose filled with the smell of iron and fuel. After everything, that's when Him first came. From there, he just never left. I can usually sense when Him is near. Today, though, his presence is stronger. I can almost feel Him next to me, weighing down the mattress. Some nights, I roll over and imagine how he looks, envision his smile or the sparkle in his eyes. He's never there and I'm left clutching to the thought that he exists, staring into empty air. Tonight, though, I swear I can reach out and touch him. Extending my hand gently, I sweep my hand out into the darkness and meet an inexplicable warmth. A scream rips from my lungs as hands cover my face and two icy blue eyes stare back at me, daring me to speak again. A soft cloth caressed my nose and mouth before I felt myself fade into bed.
