Chicago had never greeted the Valentines with open arms. Instead it greeted them with a slap in the face and reality served on a silver platter. Living with such a large family and such a small income was harder than anyone could have imagined especially when your best form of income comes from your mom being a hooker. Alexander is a middle child in the large family.
