When the event planner, Connie O'Sullivan was offered to work as assistant tour manager during the Volts summer tour, she knew it was an opportunity of a lifetime. She had been a fan of the band since their debut album came out five years earlier and she wanted to be seen as a professional. When one of the bandmembers kisses her during a Halloween party before she even starts working, she realizes she needs to keep it a secret. He cannot find out that it was her under that mask.

Sky Cohen has been dreaming about a mystery girl for the last two months and is happy for the distraction when he meets Connie, the newest addition to their crew. But he also knows that crew is off-limits. However, when she spends more and more time around the band, and he gets to know her, he finds it difficult to stick to the rules.

Will Connie be able to keep her professional act together and keep her secret when she gets to know the man behind the popstar image?

This is the first book in a five-part series about the fictional pop boy band, The Volt.

Bound by anonymous notes and a shared vulnerability, two teens, Elena and Nick, one recovering from a bad romance and the other hidden by shyness, unknowingly fall for each other, but their chance at happiness hinges on whether they can shed their pen names and embrace the messy reality of love. __________________________________________ Elena Ahlgrim, still reeling from the wreckage of a toxic relationship, was quietly trying to piece together her fractured sense of self when her melodies drifted into the ears of Nick Huang. Nick, a boy more comfortable behind the curtain of his mother's high school theater program than in the spotlight, was captivated by the unseen voice. Drawn to the music emanating from a theater dressing room, he stumbled upon a forgotten notebook and, on a whim, penned an encouraging message, signing it simply "from your admirer". When Elena nervously retrieved her notebook and found the enigmatic note, she responded in kind, crafting her own message as "mystery siren," unknowingly answering the unspoken question of Nick's heart. Through the pages of the notebook, a connection began to form, fueled by honest words and genuine emotions, yet cloaked in anonymity. As both Nick and Elena find themselves falling for the unseen writer, the question looms large: could these shy souls bridge the gap between pen and person, navigating their own insecurities and the shadows of past loves to find a real-life romance, or would the mystery remain, forever a beautiful song left unsung between them? __________________________________________ ---Book 2 of the Generations series--- ATTENTION! I try not to stare most of the time, but for some reason, tonight, I just couldn't look away. I've seen many pretty girls before in so many different places; Including the light rail, but for some reason tonight, she was just so much lovelier than any other girl I've ever seen. Why am I even getting worked up over her anyways? It's not like I'll ever see her again. Well, that's a perfect excuse to keep looking! I'll never see her again, so why does it matter if I continue to look. Well then, that settles it. I'll continue to look... He was right. Normally, when I see a cute girl, I'm like eh, but because she's just so pretty, and also because I don't have much time left, I might as well. "I mean, come on dude, You might as well." What a perfect sign. I just said it, and now he just said it. Definitely means I gotta do it. I wanted to text him back to let him know I was going to. Even though he probably thinks ill chicken out at the last second. "Your right. I might as well."
