Elnim Suronuki, a thirty two year old male is in ties with a vampire named Himaoki, twenty one years of age. Himaoki has been sheltered by Elnim since he was a child. The two were close enough to be considered family. In trade of sheltering Himaoki, Elnim would study him and report his studies back to his boss every month. This includes behavior issues, hunger patterns, sleep schedules, etc. Elnim was warned and had to keep a promise to kill Himaoki himself if he had ever gotten out of control and turned into an 'Undead V'. An Undead V, is a vampire that has lost control of itself; not being able to function correctly in society. They succumb to their beastly ways and act on violence. Elnim began noticing Himaoki's behavior change and his hunger pattern change. He realizes it indicators of him turning into and Undead V but ignored the signs, making a huge mistake.

They're blood-thirsty. Every last one of them. Per the Agreement, however, all humans are assigned a vampire at birth. When they reach their age to serve, they must fill the role of a consort, feeding their vampire whenever needed. Unlike most humans, I was ready to be a consort. I was ready for my vampire, to serve him whenever he needed me. What I wasn't ready for? His kiss. A kiss that sparked into a flame. A kiss powerful enough to change the world. (**malexmale novel**)
