"So I ran," I said. "You weren't afraid?" he asked. "Sadly no, but I should have been," I told him looking towards his house. "And you've never looked back?" he was clearly amazed by me or something. I answered with the honest truth, "No... not until now." His mom was on the porch reading a book, his dad mowing grass, his brother and sister playing hide and seek, and I got so mad.
