"So I ran," I said. "You weren't afraid?" he asked. "Sadly no, but I should have been," I told him looking towards his house. "And you've never looked back?" he was clearly amazed by me or something. I answered with the honest truth, "No... not until now." His mom was on the porch reading a book, his dad mowing grass, his brother and sister playing hide and seek, and I got so mad. The life I always wanted but never had was right there and I could not believe someone actually had it.

Audra has ran from her past for a long time. A really long time. Leaving at age thirteen from her mother and father that were strung out and would never care. She never wanted to leave but DHR just showed up one day and that was it, the things that are bound to happen always do. House to house, family to family, punishment to punishment; no one ever seemed to care for poor Audra Belle Glory.

Her mother says, the little girl smiles. ♡♡♡ Aurelia Jones and her parents go to that tree every fall for her birthday since she was six. All Nyla wanted was a mate of her own, now she got one, but only to find out it was not how she envisioned him. After just meeting, Derek, her mate and alpha of the Bloodfang Pack, with his messed up life, he didn't want a mate to put her in harms, but fate wasn't so kind, that it pushed these two together. So what will happen? Read and find out. Teaser: "Hey Derek, are you okay? Is there a problem?" I asked as he suddenly raised his head slowly. "Yeah, there is, you," I felt a pain of hurt in my chest hearing his words. "I was trying so hard not to find you but it looks like it's too late now." Tears almost descended from my eyes, but I blinked more faster to keep them from falling. How could he have said that, it hurt. While his back was turned to me and was ruffling up his hair with his hand, I took the opportunity to get passed him and I walk back towards the party. I needed to find Kim and get out of here, tonight had officially went south. As I was walking up the steps of the porch, I felt a hand pulled me back and was pressed to a hard chest. What did he wanted now. "Where do you think your going?" Derek asked as his head was buried in my neck. "Where else? Inside dumb ass," I spat out in disgust. "Not with all those wild, un-tamed, un-mated males!" He growled. "Why it's not like you care about me?" I shot back. "I don't, but my wolf does" He doesn't want me but his wolf does that's even more hurtful. "He wants you, he wants you now. Your coming with me back to my territory." "You're an Alpha?" I asked bewildered finding out who my mate is. "Yes I am and you're coming with me!" He growled out slowly.

Caught up in the sins and glamour of high society life, Astoria became the girl no one could trust. In order to return to grace, she must do the unthinkable: find a husband before the end of the year... before her mother chooses for her. With only 3 months remaining in the year, she decided to return to the limelight and reengages of high society life. But with everything she needed to build a future, only one question rings in her mind as she faces her fate: was it worth the price? __ The lighting was dull, but I could still see the shadows of his strong jawline, and the broad, muscular build he hid under his suit jacket. I wished I could see more of him-I wished I could see his face. I was intrigued by him, by the man who couldn't seem to look away. I blinked a few times before turning my cheek, suddenly conscious of the way his hidden eyes bore into me; I could almost feel the intensity of his gaze burning holes into my skull. Maybe he knew who I was; maybe he was one of the people I had crossed, they all looked the same to me. I had too many skeletons in my closet to be able to keep track of who was an ally and who was an enemy. If he was the latter, God help me. It was just the two of us outside now on the once compact Parisian streets. We were completely alone. He could do or say whatever he wanted and no one would bare witness. And yet, neither of us moved, too afraid to disrupt the perfect serenity of the moment. I opened my mouth to speak, but I could not bring myself to utter a word. For the first time, I was scared to know what someone was thinking about me. I wanted to know the type of woman he saw staring back at him. I hoped he saw the woman I was pretending to be: the regal, glamorous, refined young lady I'd been bred to become. But somehow I knew he saw me differently. The man who could not look away could see everything, and I just hoped, for the both of us, that he saw how sorry I was.
