"The Journey to the West" is the title of a book that belongs to the "four most wondrous classical novels" of China. The plot revolves around Buddhist monk Tripitaka, who travels west to India with his four disciples, including the famous monkey king Sun Wukong, searching for holy scriptures. The other protagonists are the half-pig, half-monk Pigsy, and the water monster Sandy. Tripitaka's noble steed is a white horse that used to be a river dragon. NOTE: This story has been edited by me to be more easily read.
