After the events of "Kenobi", Obi-wan now known as Ben finally reached some peace after confronting what remained of Anakin now Darth Vader and has finally let go of his faults hoping Luke will bring his long lost friend back.

But the Force is telling him something else, since his dreams now involve his long lost love, Satine Kryze. He still hears her voice as she dies in his arms, Maul's grin as he kisses her hand one last time. 
But something else he hears as well, something he's not familiar with: the voice of a girl singing his favorite Mandalorian Lullaby, the same one Satine used to sing to him during their infamous year on the run while resting by the fire.

In the words of his old Master Qui-Gon Jinn: "just trust in the Force and it will guide you home", and that's exactly what Kenobi is planning to do.

Turns out, a couple of them did end up meeting. In this story, they get to go on a whole adventure. They learn some things about each other and about themselves along the way, which is often painful, but could create bonds of trust if that's what they choose. Getting into these characters' heads and exploring the Force and the galaxy far far away have been an amazing ride. I finished this story on May the 4th, 2020. Then later, my friends urged me to polish it up and put it out there. So here it is for anyone who would enjoy it! It's not meant to replace anything that's going on in the show (which has been amazing so far, by the way). It's just an exploration and speculation on these characters and their universe. This is a fanfiction. The universe, most of the characters, and most of the locales belong to Star Wars. If you search a character or planet on Wookieepedia and it comes up with nothing, chances are I made them up (because I checked, too, before I gave them names). However, they were sometimes partly inspired by existing characters or planets in Star Wars. My use of the mando'a language was inspired by its use in Karen Traviss's Republic Commando novels (which I highly recommend if you want to learn some things about Mandalorian culture . . . And they're good stories.)

Satine had a child with Obi-wan soon after he and his master returned her to Mandalore. Obi-wan has no knowledge of this child and neither do any of her subjects as it was said that it was Bo-Katan's for the child's safety and for the safety of the Duchess' reputation. This didn't come as a surprise to the subjects since Bo-Katan already had a year old child, Korkie. Annabella is Force sensitive, very strong in the Force actually but having some control over it never proved to be an issue until she was 17. Now Satine is afraid that she'll have to ask her old love for help in fear that the dark side will consume her daughter and she'll loose her. SPOILERS FOR CLONE WARS: this takes place after Obi-wan's "death" where Satine still hasn't quite forgiven him but before anything happens with Darth Maul. And heads up I will be changing how the Mandalore arc in clone wars turns out.
