Denise Brooks and Nico Heathers aren't exactly friendly with each other. One kiss on the cheek leads to a dangerous game that has them surprised. Rivals can't like each other, right? ------------ His lips connected with mine, stopping me in the middle of my fear and shock. I kissed him back. I don't know why I did but it just happened. Our tongues battled and our lips had minds of their own. I broke away from him breathless. I stared at him in pure bewilderment. He gazed at me with an unknown emotion. I had never even seen that emotion. "Why did you kiss me?" I asked confused. "To get a reaction from you. You were scared of heights and I was worried because you wouldn't respond so I did the next best thing", he explained. "Uh, thanks?" I said. This situation was awkward and weird because I loved that kiss. Never in my life had I had a kiss like that. I had felt so alive. We both looked away. I guess it's awkward for him too. "So...", he began.

BOOK #2 of 'Forever Collection': "You don't talk to me, you don't listen, you just don't give a shit do you?!" I spat. I pushed him away, gritting my teeth as I glared at him. The sweat that trickled down my back from the hot weather made my shirt so uncomfortable that I wanted to take it off. He looked at me murderously once he got his footing. I gulped. The realisation of what I had said, made his stare erupt a chill down my spine. My eyes widened in realisation. "Heather," he took one step, "Heather," another step, "Heather..." He sighed. And the only rational thought I had? To run. *** Heather Dean and Ethan Devan confessed. What seemed to have been forgotten over the years hasn't actually died out as they had presumed. But with new ties, comes new problems, and Heather hasn't fixed hers in a long time... What happens when Heather opens up for the sake of him leaving her alone and getting off her case, and getting his answers, when Ethan only adds the adrenaline that gets Heather's heart pounding? And Ethan has no plans on giving her up again. Once a forever, always a forever. This is the sequel to 'Saved by My Forever.'
