Long before the day of unity, Luz managed to figure out a body swap glyph, but since it was so situational and counterproductive, she waited for the perfect time to use it. As it turns out, it's the perfect secret weapon to use against a monster like Belos... or at least, that's what Luz thought.
Or, Canon divergence where instead of using a sigil to fool Belos, Luz uses a body swap spell. Things go very wrong.

It wasn't a problem. Well, until Emperor Belos decided that they were too exhausting to be left alone anymore. A barrier was created that day. The rebels took the Knee half. Belos took the Head half.
