For some reason, I couldn't stop thinking about those eyes. Usually, eyes are sparkling and full of life. But his were cold, hard, dead. It was as if there was an invisible barrier blocking out everything. When he used to act like this, I knew it was just an act. But now, I wasn't so sure. Maybe this really is the new him.
