This story takes place a few years after the Fall of Shiganshina. This story follows Devon Alba, a promising cadet in the 101st training corps(844-847) with origins from the Underground. She is a strong-minded, semi-reserved individual in her late teens that suffers from a traumatic past. Despite having a hard time trusting people, she's managed to find comfort in a group of three cadets in the training corps.

Due to being a stellar cadet with Scout dreams, she gets introduced to Levi Ackerman.

They run into each other a couple times after that. The first time was a coincidence. The second time...not so much. He caught her in the midst of doing something she shouldn't be. But-oddly enough-it kicks off something unexpected.

Bonds are made. Secrets are formed. Stolen midnight moments occur. Their time together is a breath of fresh air.

A drastic event causes Levi to realize something he's been denying to himself. This realization fills him with the need to make sure the past doesn't repeat itself. Fills him with the need to be selfish.

This growing need opens up a side of him that he's never indulged in before and he can't help but act irrationally. He makes a detrimental decision. A decision that alters the course of her life. Her dreams.

And Devon isn't about to let that slide so easily...
