Corin Bradley isn't a normal boy. Although he doesn't know it yet he is something everyone wants. When he is picked to perform in the annual events, a game with 32 people where all but one are killed, he doesn't realise that an escape with his new friend Flure will help him discover his mythical past. Corin learns that not only is he the son of a mythical shape-shifter, that he himself inherited his fathers mythical genes, but what sort abilities does this mean Corin holds. When his own mother is kidnapped Corin is forced to track down the remaining mythics in the hope that they have some way of unleashing his new found talent, but just how far will he go, with not just his life hanging in the balance. I exclaim, briefly shocked by both the tone and the content of her words. My hands however are already executing her command, unzipping my jacket. "The last time I was able to sleep, I was covered with your hoodie. Your scent is comforting." She states it plainly as if it would be an obvious and broadly known fact. Like the Earth being round.
