Corin learns that not only is he the son of a mythical shape-shifter, that he himself inherited his fathers mythical genes, but what sort abilities does this mean Corin holds. When his own mother is kidnapped Corin is forced to track down the remaining mythics in the hope that they have some way of unleashing his new found talent, but just how far will he go, with not just his life hanging in the balance.
