Power is a very deceptive thing, those with it are sometimes unpredictable. The pendant of Amshere held a power like none had ever seen. Able to manipulate time and make the owner immortal, it is understandable why it would be revered and feared. Placed in the ownership of a priestess for safe keeping, it costs more than she bargains for and she must take desperate measures to keep it safe. 3,000+ years later, a group of friends and fellow archeologists are on the hunt for the pendant they have only hear rumors about. So here's the deal: I'm fifteen, practically invisible in my own family, and now being shipped off to Grandma's house for the summer. Just when I thought things couldn't get more predictable, she hands me this old, mystical necklace, and suddenly, bam-I'm in way over my head. Apparently, I'm the proud new owner of a one-way ticket to a world where old egyption society rule over realms of light and darkness, and mythical creatures actually exist. But here's the twist-this isn't just some magical vacation spot. People are after me, or more specifically, the necklace, because it's the key to power in this world. And guess who's expected to protect it? Yup, me. The worst part? No one asked if I was interested in saving the world. But you know what? If they think I'm backing down... they clearly don't know me very well.
