Romance
After Willow Hall moves into New York City, the twenty-year-old finds that life is much bigger than what was in her small town of Cape May. With new beginnings and anxieties, she slowly finds her way into adulthood and individuality. Quinn Diaz, on the other hand, has always lived in NYC and knows the 'tricks of the trade'. He has had a troubled past, sharing some qualities with the yet-to-know Willow, and now spends his time managing the 'No Time to Dine' Café. Despite petty arguments, when the two are forced to work together in an unlikely situation, the two hit it off and begin to understand the importance of finding another in such a big city. A new job, new friends, a love interest, and painfully shocking twists that only make their lives just a little more interesting; twisted hopes turn into twisted beginnings as the dramatic events of Willow and Quinn's new beginning together unfold.

"That's strange," I said thoughtfully. His brow lifted. "What is?" "I always imagined that if fiction ever stepped out of a book, it'd smell like paper. Or ink. Or something like that." I studied him with exaggerated disappointment. "But you smell human. I feel misled." His lips curved - slow, deliberate. Dangerous. "Oh, love," he murmured. "I may not smell like ink..." His steps slowed. "But I assure you," he continued, leaning closer - not enough to touch, just enough to make my pulse stutter - "I taste like it." Heat rushed to my cheeks, the blush spreading like wildfire as I stared at him, utterly shocked. "If you doubt me," he said softly, eyes dropping to my mouth, "there's a very simple way to confirm."
