The Mayor of Concordia has struck the deal of a lifetime. Concordia has turned in to the perfect community...top rated schools, high public works projects, stable employment, comfortable housing for 2/3 of the city. Also in Concordia, crime rates are at an all-time low in the city's centennial lifetime...or at least that's what the papers say. In truth, the Mayor Johnson has secretly made an arrangement with the enigmatic Messengers, a secret order. In exchange for them being allowed to use the town as a sanctuary, they have virtually eliminated all strife in the city...but this is an illusion. In truth, people from the surrounding county go missing every night...be they men, women, or children, all are taken by the Messengers for their strange experiments and returning severely altered or even dead. Hassan Rahal, private detective, and his five companions seek to discover the truth behind the Messengers, but meet only with dead ends. Enter the Spectre. A cloaked figure, clad from head to foot in black and a mask which reveals only a twisted grin. The embodiment of Courage...Comedy, appears in Concordia to expose the mystical Messengers and reveal their true purpose in Concordia. Challenged by the Mayor, hunted by the Messengers, and his identity sought by the tenuous alliance he has made in Hassan's team, Comedy will let no obstacle keep him from uncovering the mystery of the Messengers. But little does Comedy know, the Messengers have many faces...and he'll have to peel back all the layers to discover the truth. Image courtesy of Chris Sharp / FreeDigitalPhotos.net
