In this au Izuku never got All Might's quirk and has to live a 'normal' life. Bakugou still got into UA but Izuku and he made up and now consider each other friends. Bakugou hangs out with Izuku whenever he can get out of the dorm, and they often meet up on the weekends.
Izuku's mom is short on money so Izuku works to help pay the bills and feed him and his mom. As a result of the childhood bullying and working from a young age Izuku is struggling mentally but refuses to tell anyone, thinking he'll be a burden.
What happens when one-night Bakugou invites Izuku to the UA dorms to meet his class?

Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead.
