"So do you want to dance?" Harley asked me as he stood up extending his hand out for me to take.
"You want me to dance with you?"
"Why not?" He asks and I chuckle waiting for him to say it's a joke
"I just met you."

"Exactly. We just met and you're asking me to dance?"

"At least buy me dinner first."
"Hmm okay let's make a deal. You dance with me and I will buy you dinner anytime you want for the rest of your life."
"Already planning the rest of our lives? We don't even know each other's last names."

Jessie Laurier wasn't really into the whole high school scenario. She didn't want to leave, but she knew greater things awaited her.
