About the story:

This is the first volume of the first series in the Fighting Fate series (for those who don't know; Fighting Fate is the name of the entire storyline of my OC's)
This Volume is called 'Secretive' and it's about Max sensing something is off with her dad.

Summary:

The Alston family is nothing but a normal family. Even though John Alston, father of two kids and his daughter Maxine Alston are impressively good with magic, nothing abnormal ever happens and they don't act any different from others. There is only one exceptional thing in this house; nobody is allowed to enter the room in the back of John's study.
One day Max finds the door to the study open, and that's when her suspicion against her dad begins to grow. She is determined to find out what her dad is up to.
