Ruled by Fire

A massive pool of fire appeared beneath me, swirling with an energy I had never felt before. The flames rose up, wrapping themselves around my legs, my waist, until I could feel the heat licking at my skin. The room started to float around me, everything weightless in the rising energy. My hair whipped around my face, tossed by the invisible force beneath me, but I didn't feel afraid. I felt alive.

I hope y'all like this story. It has been on my 'to-write list' forever. Also, I hope you'll like the cover, it took me forever to make, especially since it was the fourth one I did. I am very happy with how it turned out just to let ya know.
