A massive pool of fire appeared beneath me, swirling with an energy I had never felt before. The flames rose up, wrapping themselves around my legs, my waist, until I could feel the heat licking at my skin. The room started to float around me, everything weightless in the rising energy. My hair whipped around my face, tossed by the invisible force beneath me, but I didn't feel afraid. I felt alive.
    
    I let it all out.

    Leah Cook has been keeping a dangerous secret-one she can't share with anyone. Power surges through her veins, urging her to unleash it, to embrace the fire within her. But for years, she's kept it under tight control, terrified of what might happen if it escapes.
    
    But things take a turn when she meets Lucy, another girl with powers just like hers. Lucy sees the potential in Leah and urges her to stop hiding from her abilities. "The only way to keep your power hidden is to know how to use it," Lucy insists. Reluctantly, Leah agrees to train, knowing that embracing her powers could change everything. As they work together, Leah begins to realize the depth of her strength-and the cost of using it. Will she be able to control the fire within, or will it consume her?
