Waiveras are an ancient race of warriors, defending the humans from the evil water spirits that lurk in the shadows of our existence. Waivera children are raised to fight and kill Sirens, Draugrs, and many other spirits that live to destroy. These children are taken from their families at a young age and placed into special institutions where they learn how to track, fight and kill the evil water spirits.
Seraphina Claire has been raised in the Institution of London since she was a few days old. Abandoned at the front door, Sera grew up to know only violence and hunting evil spirits, never feeling the warmth of her parents' love or support.
