"'...knowing whatever tomorrow may bring, that it will be better than today. We've endured so much, and we won't stop here. We will continue on. It will be for them, for our survival, and for our future.'" Arriving in a vast glade surrounded by immense cement labyrinth walls with only the memory of her name. She and others her age who were conveyed to this new world must survive and thrive. Keeping order and peace among the large group is key to finding answers to the past, where they come from, what the outside world has come to, and finding a way out of the maze. This science fiction, action, thriller is a rewrite of The Maze Runner novel. All characters, settings, and direct copied text are originally created and owned by author James Dashner, while other large portions are my own original scenes and ideas. I own the lead character, other created characters for this version, cover, and added content. The reading and or seeing of the book and or movie of the original Maze Runner is not needed to understand this rewrite. This is volume one of the Whatever Tomorrow May Bring trilogy.

Teresa wasn't the first girl to appear in the maze. Before Thomas, a girl was sent by mistake, with nothing but a vial of antidote in her hands and frantic scribbles on her arm with warnings for the Gladers. Her coming marks the beginning of a new era in the Maze. A drama featuring an OC, some Grievers, would-you-rather questions, and a little bit of romance. --- This is an idea that I've been playing out in my head for two years, now. It originally started as inserting myself into the world of The Maze Runner, and progressed from there. When I would work my summer job, I would daydream about the happenings, conversations, and friendships developing naturally over a period of time, and found myself engaged in the drama. Like a tv show, the episodes drew themselves and picked up where they left off, satiating my curiosity and giving more depth and background to the characters I loved so much.
