This story is about Malachi. He's a cryptid hunter. Nothing fancy, just keeping tabs on folklore. But it's really all he has. Malachi is either laying in bed or wrestling a Bigfoot to the ground. Yes, it is tiring. All he really wants is to settle down and stay in one place for more than a few months. This story is also about Augustine. He's... a lot of things. A terminal people pleaser, a store clerk, avid lover of RnB music, just to name a few. Fellow townspeople tend to dump their errands and chores on Augustine, but that's okay. It's not like he was doing anything else. Literally trapped in his hometown. When Malachi is stationed in Point Pleasant to investigate some strange sightings, the two meet and break each other's respective worldviews.

A boy said as he sits down on a wooden chair as the fire from the chimney light's up the dark room. He look's at the book that was on his lap and brushes his finger's against it's front cover. "There's something out there...and it's older than anything you guy's have ever faced. Something ancient, horrifying, and it's hungry for the flesh of man." The symbol on the book was unnatural, it was the Antlers of a Deer, but much more twisted, monstrous, and ornamental. "Every night. It goes out of it's home to hunt anything it can catch. But it loves the taste of human flesh. They've exist for as a long as the early human's that lived in America. This thing's are called..." "...The Wendigo..."
