(Note: This is currently a first draft.) Lucy is stuck in a rut. With a boring job, no friends and no prospective future, she feels doomed to live a meaningless life. That is, until her childhood friend, Jim, returns to town, and she narrowly escapes a murder attempt thanks to him. It turns out that she and Jim are from a distant realm called Cytheria, where she is the heir to a lordship. Unfortunately the current lord - her savage uncle - will stop at nothing until she is dead and the land is his. Suddenly a life of mediocrity doesn't sound so bad, but Lucy has become a symbol of hope for rebel Cytherians - something she is in no way ready for. Can she come to terms with her newfound destiny?
