Eddie's back but the town never forgot, even after the earthquakes. After being presumed dead, Eddie "Hawkins Freak" Munson turned himself in for the murders of Chrissy Cunningham, Fred Benson, and Patrick McKinney. The town cheered and cried when they put him in cuffs, knowing justice had been served. But the metalhead was smirking, knowing he wasn't going to be in there for long. Standing to the side of the crowd was Chief of Police, Jim Hopper, and his daughter, determined to get him out.

This is both a sequel and a prequel to Keep Me In Your Dreams. It shifts back and forth between Steve and Eddie going back to Hawkins after Corroded Coffin's U.S. tour ends and what happened to Eddie in 1986 that traumatized him enough to have not remembered Steve when they came back into each other's lives in Keep Me In Your Dreams. 1986: Chrissy Cunningham is found dead, beaten and raped, in the Munson trailer, so naturally the police think Eddie did it. Especially when he runs and hides. That's when Dustin introduces Eddie to Steve and his other friends who try to keep Eddie safe until they can prove that Eddie is innocent. 1992: Steve Harrington is working as Eddie Munson's personal assistant. When there is a six week break in Corroded Coffin's tour schedule, they go back to Hawkins together to try and lead a normal life for a while before they have to go back on the road. But being back where it all began, Eddie starts to remember the things he'd built up walls to forget.Complete
