Maggie was just your average girl who had the unfortunate life of living in Hawkins, Indiana. She had grown up here, but that doesn't mean it felt like home. Maggie was heavier than most in her junior year of Hawkins High, and the 'popular crowd' never let her forget it. But she befriended former popular king, Steve Harrington and his group of younger kid friends; Dustin, Mike, Lucas and Will. 
--When a new boy shows up to school and shakes up Maggie's perfect routine, she laid out for herself, to keep herself as invisible as possible.
