Marching Fleet
This is a show script inspired heavily by many different classic franchises like Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar: Galactica and Halo. The story is a military sci-fi action show with a bit of drama in between and some fantasy elements later on and also sprinkled with comedy now and again. The show is also heavily peppered with music terminology and music references like the names of certain ships and aspects of war and the names of factions specially. I made this show as an allegory for my experience in band and all characters are based on real people and the relationships between them. A story about war in the universe. I joined the band at my high school as a brass player, specifically tuba, and became obsessed with all things music, it was always present in all things I did. One day I made a drawing of a ship and called it the "SS Vanguard Brass" and sent it to my friends in brass. One responded by saying "hey, that should be a fan fiction or something"(Duclos), so I sat down and thought about it and decided that if I was going to do it, even though I adore movies, it would have to be a show. So I spent a few hours of my day that I had to spare and wrote a pilot that I then shared with my friends. They adored the script and said they would support me with creative help(meaning they would judge would I write). A few months later it is now being read by many people I know, including the director of my high school band. In an alternate timeline Anakin Skywalker has fulfilled his destiny as the chosen one by defeating Darth Sidious. It cost Anakin his life. In the aftermath, Anakin's friends, family, and the entire Jedi Order are left to pick up the pieces and reevaluate all they know. Amid the upheaval, the Galactic Republic makes contact with the United Federation of Planets. Bridging two diverse galaxies brings great promise and peril. In an effort to build stronger ties and deeper understanding between their people's, Obi Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano are assigned the crew of the USS Enterprise D, serving as cultural envoys and strategic advisors. As a result large amounts of technology were lost galaxy-wide. The wars that were fought across the Galaxy were long and brutal, and only worsened the catastrophe. It took several millennia before the Galaxy could be at rest once again. Since then, two major factions appeared: the evil Holy Sith Empire set on dominating every star system in their reach, and the United Republic Armada, who strive to restore contact, trade, and technology with the lost systems. . . .
