Ponyboy Curtis has two personas: Mother Hen and Amorous Teenager.

Mother hen for his gang when they are hurt and need help, or tired and need a place to sleep, or hungry and need to eat, or hungover and need an aspirin.

Amorous Teenager for when he and Johnny are by themselves and he wants to see the pretty red on his crush's cheeks. Or when his first childhood best friend, Thomas, comes home and he's still a love hard.

Pony likes Johnny and Thomas, but he can't choose. Johnny, or Thomas? Black curly hair or dark brown coily hair? Gorgeous black eyes or captivating blue eyes? Tan skin or brown skin?

But...
