Calm lives a quiet life on Moonfall Island, but lacks purpose. She may want everything to stay still, but what happens when the world around her goes topsy-turvy? At a young age her father left. The world has seen decades of order. Turmoil is unheard of on a global scale, thanks to the Ten Guardians. These well-respected, public servants sit at the Top of the World and devote their very existence to ensuring peace and eradicating corruption. But nothing can stand forever. What happens when one of the Ten Guardians suddenly, and mysteriously, dies? The seat at the Top of the World is open, and there are very few who wouldn't give anything to take it.
