They say it's impossible to fall in love at first sight~ but what Matteo and Aurelia feel towards eachother is nothing of the sort, it's more of an Addiction to a drug they can't stop taking. Your eyes meet, his dark gaze penetrating you. You could almost sense the dark power rolling off of him, engulfing you even at such a distance. Your breath hitches noticing the sharp dagger like fangs, so close to piercing the soft flesh of his lips as he bites onto them a perplexed look on his face.

If only you could see into his mind...what he's thinking. Either way he'd never choose you, let's just say in this world, the chosen ones are the unlucky ones. Your fingers graze the velvet material of you're ballgown, you're hair pinned up In a curly bun, you've never looked this elegant... it's powerful.

You break away from his stare a shiver running through feeling his eyes still looking you over.

"Good evening, Aurelia, may I interest you in a dance?"

And with those few words... you felt your blood rush to your cheeks completely mesmerised by the ethereal man infront of you and it seems he wasn't leaving any time soon.

This is an unfinished work of fiction, it's probably not going to be that well written as I'm literally just spilling out my inner fantasies and shaping it into somewhat of a book.
