Jax is confused when he gets called to the principal's office only to walk in and see two police men claiming that his parents and older brother have died in a car crash he had no idea how to feel he wasn't sure if he was sad, angry,or glad, he has never liked his parents that much for the way they have treated him but his brother he loved dearly he felt lost and numb he was only 16 turning 17 in a few weeks, he has no were to go he has no friends or even family when he finds out he's going to go live with a bunch of strangers he scared and anxious he doesn't know if he can trust these people they try desperately to get Jax to open up but it's no use

What will happen to Jax? Will he finally find peace or will he continue to feel lonely for ever
