Tessa Willovine was a 17 year old girl when she was sucked into a horrifying truth. Warned by the Library, she still opened the book given to her by a strange man in the black cloak, dooming her body to eternal sleep. While her body was doomed, her mind was swallowed into the book with no title. Inside, she finds a strange and wild place, where part animal, part human people roam. Although things are not always what they seem. Esther, the queen,has been hunting these hybrids, sending them into hiding. Tessa must stop Esther, before the queen succeeds and destroys her best friend, Noah, and his little sister, Fleur. Trying to find a way out as well, Tessa must first find out the true meanings of friendship, and what it means to be betrayed by the ones you trust the most.
