The Legend of Zelda: Blades in the dark.

A modern and darker twist on the lands of Hyrule and the inhabitants we love. In this Mafia AU(ig crime syndicate would be more accurate) twists, turns and various nods to the legacy of the series. Fantasical or Scifi elements may be introduced as well.

Here is the basic low down:

The city of Hyrule. it's streets have been owned for decades by the Hyrulian Family. Rhoam the current head of the family. Commonly known as 'the king of Hyrule'. His daughter Zelda being the sole successor to this legacy. For the majority of her life being reared in order to take her rightful place once Rhoam steps down. To protect her Rhoam has stationed an up and comer within his organisation named Link. A mysterious mute with the fighting potential to rival Rhoam himself. However powers unknown to the family seek to disrupt this order... You shall just have to read to discover whom.
