A young man wonders a trip to a forest, in a neutral country surrounded by a global war that did not learn from the first. The beauty of the forest is once from a dream, but the beauty of nature is not the only kind that lives among the trees.
Side Note: Haven't read I Capture the Castle *yet*, and as far as I know, this is only similar in title.
Been thinking about continuing this, I've had ideas going past and maybe making it really a thing past its short story existence. If my personal will or success finds me, luck be my lady tonight. ❦︎
