Skylar Grey is a rebellious teen from England who lost her parents from a car accident. Her only family is her younger sister Danielle but is that all the family she has left?
Years later, Skye and Danni are now adopted by The Masons, a young american couple. Having foster parents didn't make Skye happy. It changed her from being a happy, innocent girl into a delinquent after her childhood friend, Nathan introduces her to drugs and anti-authority. Skye's foster parents notices her strange behavior and decides to put her into therapy.
Now almost 17, Skye and her family are told by her therapist to move to New York for a better life. While enrolling in her new school, Skye thought she would never let go of her trouble past, till she befriends a group of outcasts who have their own issues to deal with.
