She looks up, surprised by his sudden appearance. She has to squint her eyes to see him, the sun building a stark halo around his head. She deciphers if she should answer him or not, maybe he would go away if she wouldn't? 

She's too curious, she decides. Too curious to not know what this beautiful boy thinks.

"Congratulations." She focuses back on the book propped up on her knees but she quickly sees him sit down beside her. His knee grazing the side of her leg.

"I didn't understand one word." He huffs and her lips begin to twitch. It is that moment that August Marlowe decided she likes Steve Harrington.
