"Did you think this through, Keomi?" he questioned. I watched him pace around me like some sort of predator, most typical for his kind.
"You'll end up most like your mother you know?" The clock ticked. "Maybe even better." The clock ticked. I looked up at him. He stopped his pacing and leaned forward, placing his hands on my knees, narrowing his eyes.
"I repeat, did you think this through Keomi?" I narrowed my light brown eyes right back at him, tight smile.
"I thought everything through. Did you?"
The clock chimed.
