My dad and my mom took a seat on a chair, leaving three out of the five empty, each holding a mug that steamed in their hands. "Yes. Everything's good, I just thought that since I don't have much of anything to do today, we might be able to spend some time discussing my plans for soon." My parents exchanged glances. "I printed out my college applications last night and I just need to look them over then mail them in." My father set down his coffee on a coaster.

A recent high school graduate graduate, Forrest Cerdarfeld is applying for college in Sydney, Australia to major in Marine Biology. When he tells his parents, they are concerned and explain to him that in order for them to feel safe about his stay overseas, they introduce him to the son of two Australian friends they had met in college. His name is Stefan, and he is perfectly willing to let him stay in his apartment that year for college. The two get to know each other, become friends, and an unexpected thought surfaces in Forrest's mind-
