In a world divided by war, resources ran low and everything possible was done to strictly maintain the population size. The run changed everything after its development 10 years ago. With the threat of a invasion from neighbouring cities looming, the run separated the weak from the strong, ultimately singling those out who had the potential to fight during war. And the rest, well, a fate worse than death awaited them.
What would u do if your journey was set out for you ? Born into a disease-ridden world, Maggie had everything set out for her- grow, learn, train and most importantly follow through with that training. She was taught not to stray, to be cautious and to have one clear goal- don't miss the checkpoints.
Growing up, this seemed achievable and something Maggie would be more than capable of. But, age 18, Maggie now found herself released from the place she had once called home during the run. Her own two feet would now take her on a long journey of discovery, forcing her to make the one decision she thought she would never have to make- stay on the path she was taught or venture and hope there was something better for her.

This book is based of a dream I had, but there are some similarities to books like divergent, the maze runner and the hunger games. If you're a fan of these series, then you'll probably really like this book!!!

This story will be the plot of the Harry Potter series from the perspective of my characters with their own adventures added in.
