The Pictures We Wish We Never Took

Being sixteen is about going to parties, talking to boys, and worrying about boys. Not for Bailey Slade. Her life is about trying to forget that her entire family was murdered when she was at a playdate. She's trying to forget how the blood splatter looked, how the chair was tipped over on its side, and how the look of fear was frozen into her parent's and younger brother's face. That's the thing, Bailey cannot forget. She's cursed with an unforgettable memory.

On the 6th year anniversary of her family's unsolved murder, the FBI finds Bailey and requests she joins a team of other teenagers, like her, to solve a string of murders in DC. At first, Bailey wants to forget about her photographic memory, but then she starts to think, that maybe she can convince the FBI to help her solve her family's murder if she solves theirs.
