The beautiful pines glisten with snow on them How bare the rest of the trees are, How the wind whips the trees when it blows. The way they all look dead but they're not, How so many branches spike out like they are going to grab you. Oh winter trees, oh winter trees how I love them.

THIS IS MY FIRST STORY SO lord knows missteps have been made lol. Don't judge too harshly. We all tell little lies to protect the ones we love the most. Or is that lie just protecting us? If we say we are ok, when really we are not...is that not a lie to protect oneself? Sometimes a lie can come back and bite you....literally Enjoy
