When fourteen-year-old Y/n trains herbivore dinosaurs at Jurassic World, there are some unexpected turns of events. But then she ends up waking up to a nightmare.. She's alone-left behind on an island that has been mysteriously evacuated and abandoned. She later finds out that the dinosaurs she once trained and the dinosaurs she was terrified of escaped their enclosure's. They now roamed the island.

With no one to rely on, no power, and no working phone lines or internet access, Y/n slowly learns to live on her own. Her only companions being a triceratops named Chompy and her imagination. After a rough start, Y/n finds herself face to face with six said campers. She no longer has to worry about being alone. A few weeks pass, Y/n's formidable enemy returns-feelings. Y/n now has to deal with fretting dinosaurs and a deep affection for a certain someone she had just met a few days ago..
