My Hero Academia: America // God Bless these Heroes or God Help us All

(This is an OC story that takes place in the same time frame as MHA's first year of U.A.. Some events, actions and villains will play some role in this story. The goal is to expand the lore outside of Japan.)

America is facing a hero shortage.

After the defeat of All for One by All Might, a crime wave has hit the US with new mafias and terrorist groups spreading to fill the power vacuum that had emerged. Combat with these villains is becoming deadlier and attritional losses have piled up. A wave of new heroes is needed, even if the candidates they're pulling from comes from less than ideal stock.

At the same time, Tyson, nephew to America's #3 hero Silver Shield, is being hounded by his uncle to become a hero too. The only problem is his propensity for violence, his narcissism, and his record of petty crime. He has no reason to believe he can become a hero, but there's always a way.
